Laborers Together International is recongnized by the federal government as a 501(C)(3)non-profit corporation, whose main thrust is missions. Laborers Together International was established to help "ordinary" people do extraordinary things for God by giving them an opportunity to fulfill the Great Commission, as well as to help missionaries all over the world fulfill the call that is on their lives and ministries. The Bible says in Ephesians 4:12, "His intention was the perfecting and the full equipping of the saints (His consecrated people), [that they should do the work of ministering toward building up Christ's body (the church)." This is what LTI is about--helping to equip people to do the work of the ministry.

2. How do I become an LTI Missionary? LTI International missionaries are people from every walk of life who have heard the call to obey the Great Commission. Applicants must have had a personal experience of salvation through Jesus Christ. Applicants must also be living a consistent Spirit-filled life, evidenced by their faith, their witness, and their obedience to God’s Word. Applicants must have obtained a “good report” from those within and outside the Body of Christ. The applicant must have demonstrated initiative in evangelism and must be active in his/her local church. He/she should demonstrate a lifestyle of openness to the direction and work of the Holy Spirit. He/she should have a habit of tithing/ sowing financially as this biblical principle builds within the individual the ability to believe God for personal and ministry support. This is important for LTI missionaries who are faith missionaries and must raise their own financial support. LTI applicants should have a working knowledge of God’s Word. Bible College training or its equivalent is recommended but not required. 3. What is LTI all about? Laborers Together International is a multi-faceted ministry. The two main thrusts of LTI are: To take people on short-term mission trips, allowing those who “go” to do the “work of the ministry” as found in Ephesians 4:12. The second main facet of LTI is to help missionaries/ministries all over the world fulfill the call of God on their lives and ministries.
While we have a limited number of “office” staff, we have IT, data entry, and bookkeeping personnel as well as several other people who are involved in the operations of LTI. The board of LTI is made up of ministry leaders, business professionals, and university professors. We also have an “advisory board” made up of pastors and ministry leaders.
5. Do you offer any missions training? Not at this time, however we are in the process of establishing a missions training school and hope to have this up and running soon.
1. Why use a Missionary Agency?   The answer to the “who sends me?” question starts with God. HE calls and HE sends us. But, people are involved as partners and team members. The apostle Paul always traveled with others, and was always sent and supported – with prayer and gifts – by others. He always had people who supported him either by going with him, praying for him, or encouraging him. This is the New Testament pattern. A missions agency is simply a ministry or a group of churches and leaders, who organize around the vision of sending people to God’s call. There are many kinds of agencies and methods to send, but they all have this same foundation: God’s people responding to the Great Commission and the Great Commandment to GO to the entire world and make disciples of Jesus.

6. How do I donate to a Missionary? LTI makes it easy for people to donate to missionaries. People can donate by check or money order by sending it to our office address; by using their credit card (contact the office for information about secure credit card donations); by paypal, bank transfers, or by wiring from their bank to ours. Soon we will have the capability of using the website to donate directly to missionaries.
We believe in one God-Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Creator of all things. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, was crucified, died, was buried, was resurrected, ascended into heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father and is true God and true man. We believe the Bible in its entirety to be the inspired Word of God and the infallible rule of faith and conduct. We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the eternal happiness of the saved, and the eternal punishment of the lost. We believe in personal salvation of believers through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. We believe in sanctification through the Word of God and by the Holy Spirit, and we believe in personal holiness, purity of heart and life. We believe in divine healing, through faith in the Name of Jesus Christ, and that healing is included in the Redemption. We believe in water baptism, in the baptism in the Holy Spirit as distinct from the new birth, in speaking with tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4), in the gifts of the Spirit, and the evidence of the fruit of the Spirit. We believe that all of these are available to believers. We believe in the Christian's hope—the soon-coming, personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

This journal can be used to record prayers for a trip, and journaling the trip itself. One of the requirements for going on one of our short-term mission trips is that for six weeks prior to departure, the team members will spend one hour per week in prayer for the trip. This journal is sent to each team member. We also have them for purchase for anyone else.
The idea for this cookbook came while we were conducting a bake sale to benefit Romanian missionaries. Included in the book are recipes for the goodies from bake sales we’ve had, recipes from some of the countries we’ve been in such as India, Finland, Mexico and England, and some wonderful recipes from friends and family in the United States as well.
